REAL ESTATE ADS

Where do you go when you want to find out about homes for sale?  More than 90% of people use the internet in one way or another…. www.homesbydale.com is our website that you can search out properties.  People also use print ads …namely the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel or some other publication.  However just relying on print ads is not a very good idea.

Real estate ads can be short and to the point or can be flowery and use a lot of adjectives.  The best bet for you as a consumer is to eliminate all of the adjectives from the ad and go from there.  Adjectives can be misleading.  A few of the common ones are “cozy”.  To me this means small.  What image comes to your mind when you see “quaint”?  Does that mean old-fashioned or does it mean unusual?  What about the word “charming”?  What image does that bring up in your mind?

So my advice for you (if you do use print ads) is to eliminate all adjectives from an ad.  The next step if you really are interested in the property is to go to our website "http://www.homesbydale.com" and do a search for it. Look at the pictures and/or video of it.  This can give you the best idea of what a home is truly like.  And remember that we do a DVD home tour of all of our listings.  This proves to be the best in giving consumers a true idea of what the house is like along with the feel of the floor plan!  Remember…pictures do paint a thousand words!

Can you imagine how strong video is?
